Color Me Creative 1st Birthday Celebration Project

To pay honor to the wonderful lady, Suzanne Dean, who is teaching me (rather trying to teach me) how to color with Copic markers, I decided to participate in my first real challenge!  Oh the kick-off day, Suzanne challenged us to create a card using the following card sketch so I thought I'd give it a try!

Drum roll please......... And here is my card.......

My focal image is Birthday Gretel from C.C. designs and can be seen HERE.  I colored her with my Copic Markers.  I was going to keep up with the markers that I used so I could list the colors but I used so many different ones that I just gave up!  Sorry about that.

Here is a close-up of Birthday Gretel:  I'm still a beginning colorer so overlook my mistakes, please!

My DP is from Basic Grey's "Hopscotch" collection.  I chose my three papers from the 6 x 6 pad and designed the front of my card.  I then put the easel together and needed to decide what paper to put on the bottom of the easel.  Imagine my surprise when I found that one of the coordinating papers was a word puzzle!  For you fellow stampers who participated in the weeklong activities at Color Me Creative's Birthday Celebration, you know that one of our activities was a word puzzle!  So, I thought this was a really appropriate paper to use on this particular card!  Here's a close-up showing that DP:

Other supplies used were Spellbinders dies, flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, Sentiments from C.C. Designs found HERE and Whimsy Stamps Ticket Sentiments.  pearls and Stickles.

Here is one more close up picture of my card...

I sincerely appreciate you taking the time to check out my card.  All of your comments are greatly appreciated!  Thanks for stopping by.
